The Equal Pay Coalition, in association with CUPE Ontario, Ontario Federation of Labour, Maple Pictures, United Steelworkers Local 1998, the Machinists Union and the Canadian Labour International Film Festival, are hosting a special advance screening of Made In Dagenham.

Directed by Nigel Cole (Calendar Girls), Made in Dagenham is based on the true accounts of a group of extraordinary women who, in 1968 found their voice through humour, common sense and courage to fight for equal pay and to put an end to sexual discrimination.

This special event is in support of the Equal Pay Coalition’s Campaign to End Pay Inequality.

The screening takes place this Monday, November 22 at 6 p.m. at the Isabel Bader Theatre, located at 93 Charles Street West, just east of University Avenue at Museum Subway Station.

A limited number of complimentary passes have been set aside for CUPE members. Call Stephanie Malinsky at 416-299-9730 x312 to obtain your free pass. Passes will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, so call soon! General admission is available at the door on a pay-what-you-can basis ($15 suggested donation).
